Secondary school students in Tseazega village, Berikh sub-zone, have conducted campaign in connection with Martyrs Day within the compound of the Patriots Cemetery in the locality.
Asmara, 07 June 2014 – Secondary school students in Tseazega village, Berikh sub-zone, have conducted campaign in connection with Martyrs Day within the compound of the Patriots Cemetery in the locality.
They further disclosed that such initiatives are taken on annual basis, and expressed moral satisfaction with taking part in it.
The students explained that the carrying out of popular undertakings of this type attests to the way citizens heavily cherish the supreme tribute of the fallen heroes. They also asserted that they would enhance role in the nation-building process.
Mr. Melake Tewolde, head of the NUEYS branch in the sub-zone, said that Martyrs Day is an event when we should reiterate our pledge to honor the trust of the fallen heroes through committed work.
The students on their part pointed out that they would continue extending support to families of martyrs.
