Dirko, 12 June 2014 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in Eimni-Haili sub-zone has rehabilitated a total of 8 families patronizing orphaned children through livestock at a total expenditure of 30,000 Nakfa each.
Among the beneficiaries, Mingisteab Fisehaye, student, Ms. Asmeret Tikue, Ms. Fatuma Mohammed-Birhan and Ms. Rahma Yassin, indicated that such support attests to the trust of honoring fallen heroes on the part of the people and the government. They further expressed readiness to improve their livelihood by making the support as a stepping stone and breeding the livestock.
Mr. Tesfagebriel Gebreslasie, Head of the branch office, stated that the rehabilitation program is being actively implemented, and that learning supplies have been distributed to needy students.
