Foro, 13 June 2014 – The inhabitants of Foro sub-zone indicated that the health center there is exerting commendable effort with a view to reducing child and mother mortality rate and promoting community wellbeing.
Accordingly, the number of beneficiaries of the center has increased significantly, thus attesting to the prevalence of community awareness regarding health issues. They further expressed satisfaction with the service being rendered.
Mr. Mengisteab Tewolde, head of the health center, pointed out that it provides diverse services such as antenatal and postnatal care, child care, VCT, immunization and other services. In this connection, child and mother mortality rate in the area has shown visible decline.
