Central region: Over 32 million Nakfa distributed to Martyrs Families

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch in the Central region stated that more than 32 million Nakfa has been distrusted to families of Martyrs’ over the past five months.

Asmara, 14 June 2014 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch in the Central region stated that more than 32 million Nakfa has been distrusted to families of Martyrs’ over the past five months.

Mr. Yosef Tesfai, head of the branch office, pointed out that a total of 29 million Nakfa has been paid to families of fallen heroes during the period indicated, in addition to 3 million Nakfa handed to 382 families of martyrs contributed by nationals residing inside the country and abroad.

He went on to indicate that such support attests to the commitment of honoring the trust of fallen heroes on the part of the people and the leadership.

Among the beneficiaries, Mr. Aman Idris, Ms. Leul Dangish, Ms. Sara Fisehatsion and Ms Worqai Ibrahim expressed satisfaction with the support.

The branch office further disclosed that a total of 450,000 Nakfa contributed by nationals residing in Akria and Godaif sub-zones would be distributed to families of fallen heroes shortly.
