Abraha Bahta School for the Blind organizes computer training course for teachers

The Abraha Bahta School for the Blind here in the capital, has organized a 6-month computer training course to 18 teachers of the school.

Asmara, 16 June 2014 – The Abraha Bahta School for the Blind here in the capital, has organized a 6-month computer training course to 18 teachers of the school.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Tezare Ainialem, School director, said that commendable efforts are being exerted with a view to improving the livelihood of blind nationals. He also explained that the training would make significant impact pertaining to social life of the visually impaired citizens.

Mr. Dawait Habte, representing the trainees, noted the vitality of the course in their daily activities, and called for organizing a similar training program.

In closing remarks, Mr. Dawit Solomon, Vice President of the Eritrean National Association of The Blind, noted the role that computer plays in the development of technological knowhow.

Certificates were handed to the trainees and cultural performances staged on the occasion.
