Members of Agriculture and Information Ministries as well as Associations of Freedom Fighters conduct campaigns in connection with Martyrs Day

The members of the Agriculture and Information Ministries as well as the Associations of Freedom Fighters have conducted campaigns in connection with Martyrs Day.

Asmara, 19 June 2014 – The members of the Agriculture and Information Ministries as well as the Associations of Freedom Fighters have conducted campaigns in connection with Martyrs Day.

Members of the Agriculture Ministry who watered and planted seedlings around Embaderho area said that such activities attest to the commitment of honoring the trust of fallen heroes. They also called on nationals to nurture the planting of tree seedlings as a culture.

Likewise, members of the Ministry of Information conducted similar activities in the Patriots Cemetery and within the premises of the Ministry. They expressed satisfaction with having taken part in the initiative and assured readiness that they would sustain input in a highly organized manner.

Similarly, members of the Associations of Freedom Fighters have been engaged in watering and planting trees, in addition to the digging of holes at the Patriots Park on the outskirts of the city.
