Residents of Edaga-Hamus sub-zone, Central region, said that patronizing families of martyrs attests to the commitment of honoring the trust of fallen heroes on the part of the government and people.

Asmara, 19 June 2014 – Residents of Edaga-Hamus sub-zone, Central region, said that patronizing families of martyrs attests to the commitment of honoring the trust of fallen heroes on the part of the government and people.

Among the families of martyrs, Mr. Yemane Teklesenbet, Ms. Zewdi Abraham, Mr. Ainealem Tesfamariam and Ms. Aberash Berihu stated that thanks to the support being extended to them their livelihood could be improved. Besides, they expressed appreciation for those who made remarkable input to this end.

Ms. Dibab Kidanemariam, head of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in the sub-zone, indicated that a total of 700,000 Nakfa contributed by nationals residing abroad has been distributed to the families, in addition to the monthly benefit scheme by the Government.
