Martyrs Day commemorated with patriotic zeal in various countries abroad

Reports indicated that Martyrs Day was commemorated in various countries abroad with patriotic zeal.

Asmara, 21 June 2014 – Reports indicated that Martyrs Day was commemorated in various countries abroad with patriotic zeal.

The Eritrean community members in Germany, USA, Norway, Qatar, South Africa, South Sudan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia commemorated the Day with patriotic spirit. The nationals asserted readiness to step up participation in national development programs and raise contribution to the Martyrs Trust Fund.

On the momentous Day, the Eritrean nationals living abroad expressed deep respect to the martyrs who laid down their lives so as to restore the dignity of their people. They further reiterated their commitment to live up to the trust of the fallen heroes, raise participation in State affairs and make due contribution in support of the families of martyrs.
