Reports indicated that commendable efforts are being exerted with a view to nurturing competent youths on the basis of equipping them with the necessary skill and knowledge.

Tessenei, 24 June 2014 –   Reports indicated that commendable efforts are being exerted with a view to nurturing competent youths on the basis of equipping them with the necessary skill and knowledge.

This was highlighted at a graduation ceremony in Tessenei and Haikotal sub-zones, during which a total of 24 youths participated in a training course focusing on basic computer application and enhancing their political awareness.

A similar course was organized in Shabuko sub-zone aimed at nurturing the values and culture of the Eritrean society to the young generation.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tesfai Bairai, Administrator of Shambuko sub-zone, and Mr. Zewengel Berhane, head of the PFDJ in the sub-zone, called for stepped-up efforts towards nurturing competent youths in the region on the part of government bodies and stakeholders.

The participants of the training asserted readiness to translate the knowledge they have acquired into practice and step up participation in the implementation of national development activities.

Meanwhile, similar training courses have been organized in Mensura sub-zone.
