Eritrean National Association of citizens living with HIV/AIDS holds 4th conference

The Eritrean National Association of citizens living with HIV/AIDS held 4^th conference on the 24^th and 25^th of this month at Orotta Hospital hall here in the capital.

Asmara, 25 June 2014 – The Eritrean National Association of citizens living with HIV/AIDS held 4^th conference on the 24^th and 25^th of this month at Orotta Hospital hall here in the capital.

Speaking at the conference representing the Health Ministry, Mr. Mehari Woldu, said that the Bidho Association grouping citizens with HIV-virus is making significant contribution in raising the awareness of communities in general, and that of Association members in particular.

The Chairman of the Bidho Association, Mr. Solomon Gebrekidan, stated on his part that the mission of the Association focuses on encouraging of the public to make due contribution towards reducing the instance of the disease, besides enabling HIV victims play due role in development endeavors.

The participants of the conference elected Chairman and a 5-member Board to serve for three years.
