The students of the Southern Red Sea region in general, and that of Woldeab Woldemariam Secondary School in Assab city in particular are engaged in soil and water conservation activities, as well as planting tree seedlings and watering previously planted trees in their respective localities.
Assab, 25 June 2014 – The students of the Southern Red Sea region in general, and that of Woldeab Woldemariam Secondary School in Assab city in particular are engaged in soil and water conservation activities, as well as planting tree seedlings and watering previously planted trees in their respective localities.
Mr. Habtom Gebre, in charge of follow-up of the program, indicated that the undertakings are being conducted in reserved parks, schools, government institutions and religious centers.
Mr. Habtom also stated that a total of 250 Secondary School students are taking part in the 30-day Summer Work Program. One of the participating students stated that such activity makes due contribution in national development schemes, besides nurturing the culture of work.
