In an assessment meeting conducted on 27 June at the Central region Hall, it has been indicated that the popular participation of the residents of the Central region in the Independence Day celebrations attests to the honor they give to their independence.

Asmara, 29 June 2014- In an assessment meeting conducted on 27 June at the Central region Hall, it has been indicated that the popular participation of the residents of the Central region in the Independence Day celebrations attests to the honor they give to their independence.

According to the report it has been explained that strong participation has been observed on the part of parents at the week long School week, and especially at that of the kindergarten, junior and junior high school displays.

The report further indicated that the community based preparations at the 16 sub-zones have once again displayed the strong unity of the residents, and that the participation of the youth has been exemplary.

Moreover, the carnival of this year has been very much creative to highlight the internal as well as regional and global situations.
