Youth in Gash Barka region finalize preparations for participating in 6th Youth Festival

The Chairman of the Youth Festival Coordinating Committee in Gash Bark region, Mr. Jelani Ibrahim, said  that preparations  for participating in the  6th Youth Festival to be held from 18 to 20 July in Sawa have been  finalized.

Barentu, 29 June 21014- The Chairman of the Youth Festival Coordinating Committee in Gash Bark region, Mr. Jelani Ibrahim, said  that preparations  for participating in the  6th Youth Festival to be held from 18 to 20 July in Sawa have been  finalized.

He further indicated that the preparations include exhibition, youth village, traditional and modern cultural songs, general knowledge competitions, sports activities, dramas, fashion show, as well as Warsa programs.

Mr. Jelani also stated that the festival is an opportunity in which youth from the different regions of the country and Eritrean youth from Diaspora could come together and share their experiences, and that the youth of the Gash Barka region have finalized their preparations in a way that they would display the traditions and culture of their region.

He also expressed appreciation for the parties who made commendable input in this regard, especially the sub-zonal Administration and members of the coordinating committee.
