Gash-Barka region: 23 youths graduate in Auto-mechanics and Metalworks

A total of 23 youths who have been attending a 2-year course at the Gash-Barka Administration’s garage in Auto-Mechanics and Metalwork have graduated.

Barentu, 30 June 2014 – A total of 23 youths who have been attending a 2-year course at the Gash-Barka Administration’s garage in Auto-Mechanics and Metalwork have graduated.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Efrem Teklai, head of the garage, stated that the initiative was taken in line with the endeavors being exerted towards promoting skilled labor in the region and that the groups have received practical and theoretical training alongside their academic activities.

Col. Andemariam Gebremedhin, Director of administration and finance in the region, noted the vitality of nurturing competent youths towards realization of national development programs. He also called on the trainees to demonstrate active participation in the nation-building process.
