Seminar organize as regards controlling communicable diseases in Forto-Sawa sub-zone

A seminar has been organized as regards controlling communicable diseases in general, and that of TB disease in particular in Forto-Sawa sub-zone.

Forto-Sawa, 01 June 2014 – A seminar has been organized as regards controlling communicable diseases in general, and that of TB disease in particular in Forto-Sawa sub-zone.

At the seminar he delivered, Mr. Sultan Hagos, head of promotion and information in the sub-zone, gave an expensive briefings focusing the TB disease.

He also stated that the Promotion and information branch’s in the Health Ministry in Gash-Barka region is being exerted commendable efforts with a view to controlling the instances of the disease in the locality.

Mr. Abubeker Mohammed, Administrator of the sub-zone, said that the promotional activities targeting health issues are making positive impact in raising community awareness to this end. And called on health community workers to play due role for more gratifying outcome.

The participants of the seminar pointed out that thanks to the promotional activities being rendered their awareness could be raised and asserted readiness to put up endeavors in this regard.
