Asmara Community College of Education graduates 588 candidate teachers with Diploma and Certificate

Asmara Community College of Education has graduated a total of 588 candidate teachers in Management, Sociology, Natural Science, Mathematics and English with diploma and certificate.

Asmara, 05 July 2014 –Asmara Community College of Education has graduated a total of 588 candidate teachers in Management, Sociology, Natural Science, Mathematics and English with diploma and certificate.

The graduates comprise 34 teachers who graduated with certificate in the 20th round that has presently been upgraded to diploma level.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Pertros Hailemariam, Director General of Human Resource Development in the Education Ministry, said that commendable efforts are being exerted towards promoting educational outreach. He also noted the vitality of nurturing competent teachers.

Likewise, Mr. Alem Gebrekal, Director of the College, indicated that the candidates have attended a number of courses relevant to the teaching profession.
