Agordat sub-zone: NUEYS exerting commendable efforts towards raising youths’ political awareness

The head of the National Union of Eritrean Youths and Students (NUEYS) branch in Agordat sub-zone, Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed-Saleh, indicated that the branch office is exerting commendable efforts as regards equipping youths with higher political awareness and knowledge, and thereby enable them to step up participation in national development programs.

Agordat, 08 July 2014 – The head of the National Union of Eritrean Youths and Students (NUEYS) branch in Agordat sub-zone, Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed-Saleh, indicated that the branch office is exerting commendable efforts as regards equipping youths with higher political awareness and knowledge, and thereby enable them to step up participation in national development programs.

He also stated that a number of training courses were organized towards nurturing dynamic youths and that currently more than 119 youth members are participating in similar training courses alongside their academic activities.

Similarly, Mr. Gide Seqar, Acting head of the NUEYS in Gash-Barka region, said that the training courses being organized are as part of endeavors to nurture versatile youths who make due contribution in State affairs.

Mr. Tekelebrahan Gebrewold, Administrator of Agordat sub-zone, called on the Peole’s Front and government bodies to sustain input regarding youth issues, and urged the latter to demonstrate higher competence in their academic pursuit.
