Youths in Central region finalize preparations for 6th National Youth Festival
Youths in the Central region have finalized preparations for the 6th National Youth Festival due to be conducted from 18 to 20 of this month in Sawa.
Asmara, 11 July 2014 – Youths in the Central region have finalized preparations for the 6th National Youth Festival due to be conducted from 18 to 20 of this month in Sawa.
Mr. Sibhatu Araya, chairman of the event’s coordinating committee in the region, stated that they have been engaged in intensive activities in this connection with a major focus on diverse cultural, sports and education-related contests, among others. He further expressed conviction that the event provides groundwork for exchange of experience, and that youths would get more advantage from this.
The fact that the event is being conducted in Sawa has added value, and youths are due to prove higher participation, Mr. Sibhatu added.
