Inhabitants of Girme and Afentera Administrative areas extend labor support to families of martyrs

The inhabitants of Girme Administrative area, Shambuko sub-zone, have extended labor support to families of martyrs in the locality on the basis of tilling their farmland.

Shambuko, 14 July 2014 – The inhabitants of Girme Administrative area, Shambuko sub-zone, have extended labor support to families of martyrs in the locality on the basis of tilling their farmland.

Mr. Tesfalem Niamin, Administrator of the Administrative area, said that such initiative attests to the community members’ commitment of honoring the trust of martyrs, and asserted the readiness of the community members to sustain collaboration till Autumn season.

The beneficiary families expressed satisfaction with the support being rendered to them by the communities and the Government.

Similarly, Mr. Gilagabr Haile, Administrator of Afentera Administrative area, Molqi sub-zone, indicated that the inhabitants have been engaged in the tilling of 75 hectares farmland of families of fallen heroes in the locality through mobilizing 300-pair of oxen.
