Maekel Ketema sub-zone: Call made on students to effectively utilize the free educational opportunity
Mr. Habtai Tesfazghi, Administrator of the Maekel Ketema sub-zone, Central region, has called on students to effectively utilize the free educational opportunity accorded them at government expenditure, and to nurture the cultural values of their society.
Asmara, 14 July 2014 – Mr. Habtai Tesfazghi, Administrator of the Maekel Ketema sub-zone, Central region, has called on students to effectively utilize the free educational opportunity accorded them at government expenditure, and to nurture the cultural values of their society.
Mr. Habtai made the call at a meeting with Grade 11 students who would participate in the 28th round National Service in Sawa, during which he called on the students to demonstrate higher competence in their academic pursuit.
Mr. Abraham Fisehaye, head of the NUEYS branch in the sub-zone, explained that the mission of the Union is to nurture dynamic youths who would make due contribution in the nation-building process. He also called on the communities and Government bodies to sustain input in this regard.
The participant students on their part expressed appreciation for the support extended to them on the part of their parents, teachers and the sub-zonal Adminstration to this end.
