NUEW in Gash-Barka region organizes computer training course to members

The Nation Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) branch in Gash-Barka region has organized a 3-month computer training course for a total of 18 members.

Barentu, 16 July 2014 – The Nation Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) branch in Gash-Barka region has organized a 3-month computer training course for a total of 18 members.

At a graduation ceremony, it was stated that the training was aimed at raising the capacity of members, and thereby enable them to improve  their livelihood.

Mr. Okba-ab Gilazgi, who conducted the training, expressed appreciation for the enthusiasm the trainees demonstrated and noted the vitality of the program in the daily activities of the beneficiaries. He further called on them to develop the skill they have acquired through work experience.

Ms. Alem Abai, head of the NUEW branch in the region, indicated that similar training programs were organized towards raising the capacity of members and improves their livelihood. She also stated that such a scheme would be organized in the future.
