Organization of youth workers in Central region graduates over 800 members

Reports indicated that the Organization of youth Workers in the Central region has graduated a total of 809 members in various professions for the second time.

Asmara, 16 July 2014 – Reports indicated that the Organization of youth Workers in the Central region has graduated a total of 809 members in various professions for the second time.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Samson Kifle, Head of the NUEYS in the region, noted the role of skilled youths in the realization of national development goals. He also stated that the Union is exerting commendable efforts towards nurturing dynamic youths, and expressed appreciation for those who made remarkable input in organizing the training courses.

Mr. Kibrom Tekle in charge of the science and technology aspect of of the training scheme pointed out on this part that the beneficiaries were from Ministries and governmental institutions in the region. He also explained that the training involved Photography, Accounting, Computer Application, Maintenance, Electronics, Electricity and Auto-Mechanics, among others.

A representative of the graduates indicated that the initiative is part of the endeavors being made with a view to nurturing competent youths, and asserted readiness to step up participation in national development undertakings.
