Inhabitants of Hagaz sub-zone express readiness to sustain support to families of fallen heroes

The inhabitants of Hagaz sub-zone, Anseba region, have expressed readiness to sustain support to families of fallen heroes through extending financial and labor support. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted to this end.

Hagaz, 17 July 2014 – The inhabitants of Hagaz sub-zone, Anseba region, have expressed readiness to sustain support to families of fallen heroes through extending financial and labor support. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted to this end.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Amna Haj, Administrator of the sub-zone, stated that nationals are in a position to enjoy peace and prosperity thanks to the incomparable life sacrifice paid, and underlined the need to patronize the families of martyrs.

Likewise, Mr. Teklehaimanot Musael, Administrator of Hagaz town, said that supporting families of martyrs is imperative and indicated that the town Administration would give priority to their needs.

Among the committees in charge of the task, Mr. Fitsum Haile and Mr. Medhanie Asfaha explained that the support would make significant impact to the beneficiary families, and called on the inhabitants to enhance role in this regard.

At the meeting, over 270,000 Nakfa was contributed by the inhabitants, in addition to 21 individuals who have taken the initiative of patronizing 21 families of fallen heroes.

Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Fana, Adi-Fakai, Hashisha, Golia and Shengen Administrative areas of the sub-zone have extended financial and labor support to such families.
