Eritrean athletes leave for USA to take part in 15th World Track and Field Competition

Eritrean athletes leave for Eugene city, USA, to take part in the 15^th World Track and Field Competition. The athletes are Abraham Tsegai who would compete in the 800-meter race, Tsegai Tu’umai in the 5,000-meter race, Afwerki Birhane in the 10,000-meter race and Weini Kelati in the 3,000-meter race respectively.

Asmara, 22 July 2014 – Eritrean athletes leave for Eugene city, USA, to take part in the 15^th World Track and Field Competition. The athletes are Abraham Tsegai who would compete in the 800-meter race, Tsegai Tu’umai in the 5,000-meter race, Afwerki Birhane in the 10,000-meter race and Weini Kelati in the 3,000-meter race respectively.

The athletes are expected to register gratifying result in the competition, according to the Eritrean National Athletics Federation.
