Call made on parents to enhance role towards lowering instances of crime

The Commander of the 2nd  Police Station here in the capital, Maj. Woldu Zewoldi, has called on communities in general and parents in particular to enhance role in the endeavors being made with a view to lowering instances of crime.

Asmara, 28July 2014 – The Commander of the 2nd  Police Station here in the capital, Maj. Woldu Zewoldi, has called on communities in general and parents in particular to enhance role in the endeavors being made with a view to lowering instances of crime. He made the call at a meeting with residents of Abashawl sub-zone, during which he stated that promotional activities being exerted have borne commendable outcome to this end. Maj. Woldu further called on the residents to sustain collaboration with the Police Force for more gratifying outcome.

Ms. Alganesh Tikue, Administrator of the sub-zone, on her part urged the parents to nurture morally virtuous children.

The participants of the meeting expressed readiness to enhance collaboration with the Police.
