Festival preparations finalized in Washington D.C

The Coordinating Committee of the Eritrean festival in Washington D.C indicated that preparations for the annual event by Eritrean community members in Washington D.C due to be conducted from 8 to 10 August under the theme “We Toil Today for A Bright Future” have been finalized.

Asmara, 28 July 2014 – The Coordinating Committee of the Eritrean festival in Washington D.C indicated that preparations for the annual event by Eritrean community members in Washington D.C due to be conducted from 8 to 10 August under the theme “We Toil Today for A Bright Future” have been finalized.

During the 3-day event, the staging of Regional presentations and Youths Camp, coupled with sports competition and cultural performance, among others, would feature.

The contents of the Festival would focus on children that would be conducted in open areas, parks and tents, the report added.
