Asmara, 10 August 2014 – The Eye glass workshop owned by the Eritrean National War Disabled Veterans Association (ENWDVA) supplying competitive and fair price products, according to beneficiaries.
Mr. Alazar Girmai, eye glass technician, indicated that the workshop which has been established in 2008 with limited capacity is currently producing variety of quality eye glasses, and that it is supplying not only to the war disabled veterans but also to the general public.
Mr. Gebrebrhan Eyasu, Chairman of the Eritrean National War Disabled Veterans Association, explained that the objective for establishing the workshop has been to supply eye glasses to the members of the association with fair price, and that with the sustainable contribution from the branches of the association in Europe the importance of the workshop has been steadily growing.
He further indicated that the association’s branch in Norway contributed in 2012/2013 over 10 thousand eye glass frames, and that the association is exerting efforts in collaboration with the Health Ministry and other partners to expand the workshop.
