Central region: Preparations for National Festival 2014 finalized

The Holidays Coordinating Committee in the Central region indicated that preparations for National Festival 2014, due to be conducted from the 15th to the 23rd of this month at Asmara’s Expo Grounds, have been finalized.

Asmara, 12 August 2014 – The Holidays Coordinating Committee in the Central region indicated that preparations for National Festival 2014, due to be conducted from the 15th to the 23rd of this month at Asmara’s Expo Grounds, have been finalized.

Mr. Asmerom Tsegaberhan, Chairman of the Committee, stated that the Administration of the Central region has been working in a more organized manner on the basis of sub-committees.

He further outlined the programs to be staged in the Festival, and disclosed that special activities would be conducted targeting popularization of cultural values among children.
