Anti-Rota Virus vaccination for children below 1 year launched

An anti-Rota Virus vaccination for children below 1 year has been launched in Eritrea for the first time.

Asmara, 14 August 2014- An anti-Rota Virus vaccination for children below 1 year has been launched in Eritrea for the first time.  The Minister of Health, Ms, Amina Nurhusien, and other government officials, as well as representatives of international organizations war present at the launching event. According to reports, the task is being carried out in 285 permanent and 385 provisional centers.

In remarks she made on the occasion, Ms, Amina explained that the vaccination scheme being introduced would play vital role in reducing children mortality rate resulting from rota virus.
