Molqi sub-zone: Encouraging outcome being registered as regards combating malaria

Mr. Solomon Tesfai, head of the Health Ministry’s branch in Molqi sub-zone, indicated that endeavors being made to control malaria are registering encouraging outcome.

Molqi, 18 August 2014 – Mr. Solomon Tesfai, head of the Health Ministry’s branch in Molqi sub-zone, indicated that endeavors being made to control malaria are registering encouraging outcome.

He also stated that community health workers are making due contribution in this regard, and called on community members to conduct environmental hygiene and to do away with potential spots for mosquito breeding. The local inhabitants said that communal awareness prevails to this end, and expressed readiness to emulate the sensitization campaigns being conducted in a highly organized manner.
