A seminar was conducted at Ginda Regional Referral Hospital with a view to raising awareness of health professionals regarding prevention and control of communicable diseases.
Ginda, 20 August 2014 – A seminar was conducted at Ginda Regional Referral Hospital with a view to raising awareness of health professionals regarding prevention and control of communicable diseases.
Mr. Woldeyesus Belai, in charge of follow-up of communicable diseases in the Health Ministry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region, indicated that communal awareness is on the rise thanks to the promotional activities being conducted. He also pointed out that more endeavors would be exerted in a highly organized manner in this regard.
Likewise, Dr. Fremichael Gilamichael, head of prevention and control of communicable diseases at the branch office, he gave a lecture focusing on ways and means of combating cross border infection.
Similar seminars were also organized in Masswa, Afabet and Nacfa hospitals.
