YPFDJ branch members in Johannesburg assert readiness to step up participation in national development programs
Members of the YPFDJ branch in the city of Johannesburg and its environs have asserted readiness to step up participation in national development programs.
Asmara, 21 August 2014 – Members of the YPFDJ branch in the city of Johannesburg and its environs have asserted readiness to step up participation in national development programs. They made the pledge at a meeting on August15 with Mr. Saleh Omar, the Eritrean Ambassador to South Africa and the southern African region.
At the meeting, the Ambassador gave briefings focusing on the objective and achievements of youth organizations in the Homeland and abroad. He also stated that the paramount role of youths in the nation-building process and safeguarding the nation’s dignity.
Ambassador Saleh further expressed appreciation for those who are making due contribution in the implementation of the national development drive, and called on them to enhance role in State affairs on the basis of higher organizational capacity.
The participants of the meeting exchanged views and elected new Managing Committee.
