NUEW branch in Asmat sub-zone assert readiness to enhance role in development programs

The NUEW branch in Asmat sub-zone asserted readiness to enhance role in the implementation of national development programs on the basis of higher organization, It made the pledge at a meeting conducted in Asneda semi-urban center, during which representatives of 8 Administrative areas took part.

Asmara, August 2014 – The NUEW branch in Asmat sub-zone asserted readiness to enhance role in the implementation of national development programs on the basis of higher organization, It made the pledge at a meeting conducted in Asneda semi-urban center, during which representatives of 8 Administrative areas took part.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Meriyem Mohammed-Ali, head of the branch office, stated that members of the Union are playing significant role in the nation-building process. She also called on the representatives to sustain input as regards raising organizational capacity, and bequeathing the cultural values of Eritrean women to the young generation.

The participants of the meeting on their part pointed out that the Adult Education Program and child, as well as mother care are making due contribution in improving their livelihood.  They also voiced readiness to strengthen the Union through nurturing youth members.
