Abraha Bahta School for the Blind has organized a summer musical training course for a total of 16 blind members in different musical instruments, in addition to its regular academic activities.
Asmara, 02 September 2014 –Abraha Bahta School for the Blind has organized a summer musical training course for a total of 16 blind members in different musical instruments, in addition to its regular academic activities.
Mr. Yonas Woldai, music instructor at the school, told Erina that endeavors are being made with a view to equipping the blind citizens with the necessary knowledge and skill, and that the training is a continuation of similar initiatives taken to this end.
The trainees on their part explained that promotional activities as regards disabled citizens are given impetus to possess higher community awareness in this regard. They also noted the significance of the training in the daily activities of their livelihood.
