Inhabitants of Leaiten Administrative area express readiness to step up participation in national development undertakings
The inhabitants of Leaiten Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, have expressed readiness to step up participation in the implementation of national development undertakings.
Ginda, 03 September 2014 – The inhabitants of Leaiten Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, have expressed readiness to step up participation in the implementation of national development undertakings.
They made pledge at a meeting with the Administrator of the sub-zone, during which the community members stated that they are carrying out renovation of Nefasit-Dekemhare dirt road in collaboration with EDF members and the People’s Army.
Mr. Omar Yahiya, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on the inhabitants to enhance role in the realization of the development goals and thus effectively harness the available natural resources in the area.
In another report, Maj. Aron Tewolde, Commander of Ginda police station, called on the local inhabitants to raise awareness as regards crime prevention and sustaining of children’s follow-up.
The participants of the meeting conducted discussion on various issues.
