Himbol-Qechech Health Station rendering commendable service as regards raising community awareness

Beneficiaries of Himbol-Qechech Health Station, Kerkebet sub-zone, stated that it is rendering commendable service as regards raising community awareness on health issues in general and mother and child care in particular in addition to the medical services being rendered.

Kerkebet, 08 September 2014 – Beneficiaries of Himbol-Qechech Health Station, Kerkebet sub-zone, stated that it is rendering commendable service as regards raising community awareness on health issues in general and mother and child care in particular in addition to the medical services being rendered.

They also stated that immunization, prenatal and antenatal care services are being rendered to the inhabitants of Himbol-Qechech, Yakar’e and Hamashdba Administrative areas, besides, some parts of Asmat sub-zone. In this connection, health personnel of the station and village health workers are making due contribution in combating diseases, they added.

Mr. Solomon Dair, head of the Station, and Mr. Ismael Mohammed, Administrator of Himbol-Qechech Area, pointed out that community awareness is on the rise as regards malaria prevention, as well as prenatal and antenatal care thanks to the promotional campaigns conducted to this end.
