Southern region: Call made for making due follow-up of crop plantations until harvest

The Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Efrem Gebrekirstos, has called for making due follow-up of the crop plantation until harvest.

Mendefera, 10 September 2014 – The Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Efrem Gebrekirstos, has called for making due follow-up of the crop plantation until harvest. He made the call at a meeting with PFDJ cadres in the region who have been attending workshop.

In the course of the meeting in Mendefera city, Mr. Efrem noted the vital contribution of PFDJ units region in general and cadres in particular towards the realization of national development goals. He further called on them to play active role as regards effective harvesting of this year’s crops.

The week-long workshop organized by the region’s PFDJ heads witnessed the participation of 400 cadres from all sub-zones of the region focusing on ideology, psychological war and nationalism, among others.

Mr. Kelifa Nur-husein, PFDJ secretary in the region, noted the role of cadres in the promotion of social services, strong economy and culture.
