Ginda sub-zone: Call made on community members to enhance role in lowering instances of crime

Lt. Colonel Habtetsion Tsegai, Head of crime investigation in the Northern Red Sea region, has called on communities to enhance role in the prevention and lowering instances of crime on the basis of  higher awareness.

Ginda, 22 September 2014 – Lt. Colonel Habtetsion Tsegai, Head of crime investigation in the Northern Red Sea region, has called on communities to enhance role in the prevention and lowering instances of crime on the basis of  higher awareness. He made the call at a recent meeting with the inhabitants of Ginda sub-zone, during which the Police officer noted the vitality of law towards ensuring peace and stability, and called on the participants to enhance collaboration with the Police in this regard.

Mr. Omer Yahiya, Administrator of the sub-zone, equally noted the role of religious leaders and community members in general and that of parents in particular as regards nurturing moral virtue and respect of law.

The participants expressed readiness to step up collaboration with the Police Force.
