Asmara, 27 September 2014 – A pictorial exhibition highlighting Eritrea’s historical relics was presented in Rome city on September 25 and 26.
The exhibition was jointly organized by Luigi Pigorini Museum and Italian archeologists in collaboration with the country’s Ministry of Education and Research, as well as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In connection with the exhibition, Mr. Fisehatsion Petros, the Eritrean Ambassador to Italy, pointed out that Eritrea possesses rich historical relics, and
called on the organizers to pursue the task at greater scope.
Likewise, the Italian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Mario Giro, noted the long-standing shared history and that both sides need to enrich studies about the past heritage.
