Crops in Molki sub-zone expressed in good condition

Mr. Zere Berhe and farmers in Molki sub-zone explained that their crops which have been cultivated on 11 thousand hectares of land are in good condition.

Barentu, 28 September 2014- Mr. Zere Berhe and farmers in Molki sub-zone explained that their crops which have been cultivated on 11 thousand hectares of land are in good condition.

Mr. Zere further indicated that with the good distribution of rainfall and with the soil and water preservation popular campaigns that have been conducted by farmers the crops are in good condition and ripe for harvest.

The farmers on their part stated that the assistance of machinery they have been provided has contributed to the success of their efforts, and that they are expecting plentiful harvest.

Molki sub-zone which comprises 19 administrative areas and with a population of around 50 thousand is one of the 14 sub-zones in Gash Barka region.
