Youths in Abashawl and Hagaz sub-zones assert readiness to enhance role in national development programs

Members of the NUEYS branch in Abashawl and Hagaz sub-zones have asserted readiness to enhance role in the implementation of national development programs on the basis of higher competence in their academic pursuit.

Asmara, 06 October 2014 – Members of the NUEYS branch in Abashawl and Hagaz sub-zones have asserted readiness to enhance role in the implementation of national development programs on the basis of higher competence in their academic pursuit. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted in Hagaz town to exchange experiences on the part of youths from the two sub-zones.

Mr. Jemal Woldit, head of the NUEYS branch in Hagaz sub-zone, gave briefings focusing on a youths centre being constructed in the town with a view to raising political and organizational capacity of members. He further called on them to step up participation in State affairs.

Likewise, Mr. Girmatsion Mehari, head of the NUEYS branch in Abashawl sub-zone, stated that the tour is aimed at familiarizing the nation’s history and sharing experience.

Also speaking on the occasion, Mr. Teklehaimanot Musael, Administrator of Hagaz town, noted the significance of sharing experience among the youths as regards nurturing moral virtue and acquiring knowledge.
