A total of 81 teachers, Directors and Supervisors who have been attending a 2-year course on educational management have graduated with Diploma from Asmara Community College.
Asmara, 13 October 2014 – A total of 81 teachers, Directors and Supervisors who have been attending a 2-year course on educational management have graduated with Diploma from Asmara Community College.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Alem Gebrekal, Director of the College, emphasized the significance of the training as regards the daily tasks of the graduates. He further explained that the Education Ministry is exerting commendable effort with a view to raising females status into Directors.
Also speaking on the occasion, Mr. Semere Russom, Minister of Education, noted the active role of teachers towards ensuring societal development in general and nurturing youths and children in particular. The Minister also called on them to serve with higher sense of dedication.
A representative of the graduates stated that the training is part of the endeavors being exerted by the Government in this regard, and expressed the readiness of the graduating batch to serve with commitment.
