Needy students in Maekel-Ketema sub-zone obtain training courses

A total of 25 needy students in Maekel Ketema sub-zone, Central region, have obtained training courses in Computer and English Language.

Asmara, 13 October 2014 – A total of 25 needy students in Maekel Ketema sub-zone, Central region, have obtained training courses in Computer and English Language.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony in the Central region’s Administration Hall, Mr. Habtai Tesfazghi, Administrator of the sub-zone, stated that the training courses aimed at raising the academic capacity of the students, and expressed appreciation for the initiative taken by owner of Vistas Computer Training Centre in organizing the program.

Mr. Habtom  Asmerom, owner of the computer centre, said that supporting the offspring of martyrs and needy students is not only the responsibility of the government but nationals as well, and expressed readiness to continue the praiseworthy initiative.

Similarly, Mr. Yosef Tesfai, head of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in the region, called on the trainees to diligently pursue their academic activities taking the training as a steppingstone.
