Ambassador Osman holds talks with UAE Minister of Energy

The Eritrean Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Osman Mohammed-Omar, held talks with the country’s Minister of Energy, Mr. Suhel Al-Mezruie, on bilateral relations and co-operation of partnership.

Asmara, 17 October 2014 – The Eritrean Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Mr.Osman Mohammed-Omar, held talks with the country’s Minister of Energy, Mr. Suhel Al-Mezruie, on bilateral relations and co-operation of partnership.

In the course of the talks Ambassador Osman gave briefings to the UAE official on Eritrea’s pace in the development drive and the on-going economic development process in Eritrea and the region as a whole.

Noting Eritrea’s promising future, the UAE Minister expressed his country’s readiness to enhance bilateral co-operation of partnership with Eritrea.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Osman conducted discussion with Dr. Anwar Al-Gargash from the UAE Foreign Ministry on enhancing bilateral relations and developments in the Horn region and the Red Sea region.

Stating that relations between Eritrea and the UAE is long-standing, Dr. Anwar expressed his country’s readiness to enhance collaboration in diverse fields, and in the domain of economic and development spheres in particular.
