Over USD 48 thousand and 100 thousand Nakfa contributed in donation to Martyrs Trust Fund and patronizing families of fallen heroes
The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare indicated that Eritrean nationals residing in various countries have contributed over USD 48 thousand and 100 Nakfa in donation to the Martyrs Trust Fund and patronizing families of fallen heroes.
Asmara, 18 October 2014 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare indicated that Eritrean nationals residing in various countries have contributed over USD 48 thousand and 100 Nakfa in donation to the Martyrs Trust Fund and patronizing families of fallen heroes.
According to reports, Eritrean nationals residing in Los-Angeles, including Associations 1 to 10 in the city, volunteer mothers association in Columbus branch 2, NUEW branch in Charlotte and the National Holidays Coordinating Commtitee in Philadelphia, as well as Eritrean citizens have contributed more than USD 44, 845 to patronizing martyrs of families.
In the same vein, Eritrean community members in South Sudan extended USD 2,520 for the same purpose.
Moreover, Eritrean community members in Yirole, South Sudan, contributed USD 1,000 to the Martyrs Trust Fund. In this connection, Ms. Lemlem Woldegebriel along with her six offsprings extended 50 thousand Nakfa each to the Trust Fund and patronizing families of fallen heroes.
