The residents of Barentu town have reiterated readiness to sustain backing families of fallen heroes in an organized manner.

Barentu, 20 October 2014 – The residents of Barentu town have reiterated readiness to sustain backing families of fallen heroes in an organized manner. They made the pledge at a meeting in the town in which branch heads, community elders and local administrators took part.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Aurelio JaKomino, Administrator of Barentu sub-zone, stated that patronizing families of martyrs is not only the responsibility of the Government but nationals as well and commended the initiative taken by the community members. He further expressed the sub-zonal administration’s readiness to exert the necessary collaboration to this end.

Meanwhile, the town residents contributed a total of 360 thousand Nakfa in support of the families of martyrs.
