Anseba region: Civil servants called upon to raise professional capacity

Mr. Atobirhan Gebrat, head of the National Confederation of Eritrean Workers branch in Anseba region, has called on civil servants to raise their professional capacity and creativity so as to enhance production.

Keren, 22 October 2014 –  Mr. Atobirhan Gebrat, head of the National Confederation of Eritrean Workers branch in Anseba region, has called on civil servants to raise their professional capacity and creativity so as to enhance production.

He told Erina that Eritrea is working on priority basis towards promoting relations of employees and employers on the basis of the nation’s Labor Law. The branch head further called on workers to demonstrate active professional enthusiasm in the nation-building process.

Mr. Atobirhan went on to explain that the objective of the Confederation is to strengthen tripartite relations among workers, employers and the Government, and thereby enhance organizational capacity with a view to ensuring their rights. In this connection, main hotels in Keren city, Elabered Agro-Industry, Azel Pharmaceutical Plant, ELPA branch, metal and cement products plants are among those operating under the umbrella of the Confederation, he added.
