PFJD Secretary holds talks with Chairman of Sudanese Parliament

Mr. Al-Amin Mohammed Seid, PFDJ Secretary, held talks in Khartoum with the Chairman of the Sudanese Parliament, Mr. Al-Fatah Uzedin, as regards enhancing bilateral relations.

 

Asmara, 25 October 2014 – Mr. Al-Amin Mohammed Seid, PFDJ Secretary, held talks in Khartoum with the Chairman of the Sudanese Parliament, Mr. Al-Fatah Uzedin, as regards enhancing bilateral relations.

The two officials conducted discussion on the implementation of the agreements concluded earlier between Eritrea and Sudan in the domains of trade, agriculture, mining, health, education and movement of nationals to and fro of the two countries, and the like.

Moreover, Mr. Al-Amin and Mr. Al-Fatah reached understanding regarding the need to exchange visits and continued consultation so as to consolidate the accords reached from time to time for the benefit of both peoples.

Regarding regional and international forums, the two sides agreed to pay due attention to the need for coordination of the stance of both countries   towards reinforcing strategic ties.
It is to be noted that the PFDJ Secretary is currently in the Republic of Sudan on a working visit.
