NICE pays 1.8 million Nakfa to deceased students of Enda-Gerghis Secondary School in insurance

The National Insurance Corporation of Eritrea (NICE) has paid a total of 1.8 million Nakfa insurance to the students of the Adiquala-based Enda-Gerghis Secondary School, who lost their lives in traffic accident on 4 August 2014 while traveling to Sawa to pursue their 12th grade education.

 

Asmara, 27 October 2014- The National Insurance Corporation of Eritrea (NICE) has paid a total of 1.8 million Nakfa insurance to the students of the Adiquala-based Enda-Gerghis Secondary School, who lost their lives in traffic accident on 4 August 2014 while travelling to Sawa to pursue their 12th grade education.

During the presentation at Adiquala semi-urban center, Mr. Misgina Nemariam, Technique Manager at NICE, recalled that the late 18 students and a teacher lost their lives in that tragic accident, and that the Government decided to extend 100 thousand Nakfa each.

Commending the condolence extended to them by the people and Government in the wake of the tragic accident, the   parents of the students pointed out that the Government’s decision to extend the insurance attests to its concern towards citizens.
