Eritrean community members residing in South Sudan hold 1st Conference

Eritrean community members residing in South Sudan this week held 1st Conference in Juba city.

Asmara, 28 October 2014 – Eritrean community members residing in South Sudan this week held 1st Conference in Juba city.

Speaking on the occasion, the Eritrean Ambassador to South Sudan, Mr. Yohannes Teklemichael, expressed appreciation for the effective organizational activities the community members are demonstrating, and voiced the Embassy’s readiness to provide the necessary service.

The participants of the Conference assessed accomplishments of the community during the period 2008 to 2014, and elected Managing Committee that would serve for 2-years, in addition to adopting the constitution of the community.

The members further called on the newly elected body to serve with dedication taking national unity as a steppingstone for greater achievements.
